Dance Artistry's Mission

 

Our mission is to educate, inspire, and motivate each of our students to their fullest potential. We set forth to excite the heart, mind, soul, and spirit of all of our dancers while instilling a love of dance and joy of movement. Dance Artistry prides itself on upholding the highest quality programs, staff, and training in a fun, educational, and positive environment. We hope to enrich the lives of every student and promote dance as an artistic process which will develop the ARTISTRY of DANCE in each and every student in his/her own unique way.

 

Our Programs

 

Our classes are disciplined, non-competitive, and nurturing. We aim to enhance and encourage team work as well as progress in each student. In order to achieve these goals we emphasize small class sizes to ensure individual attention is given to each student.

 

Our highly qualified staff is dedicated to promoting standards of excellence in all of our programs. Along with providing an educational program our staff also aims to help all of our students reach their individual goals by challenging and inspiring them to do their own personal best. We want our students to embrace their strengths as well as their weaknesses and recognize and applaud the strengths and achievements of others.

 

We educate our students not only in technique and style but also on setting goals and finding a path to achieve their aspirations. On this journey we want them to aim for excellence, learn the value of dance is far greater than awards, trophies, or honors, and most importantly, to always have pride in knowing that they have given their best.

 

Recreational Programs

  • All dancers must start somewhere and a recreational class is the place to start for students who are apprehensive and/ or unfamiliar to dance. Our recreational programs teach the basic of technique and vocabulary, and appreciation for the art form.
  •  If the student develops a love and passion for dance (which we are sure they will), an eagerness to achieve progress, and aspirations to reach a higher level, then a more intensive program is recommended.
  • For the recreational dancer we offer classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop.

Intensive Program

  • Those students who wish to pursue their dancing to the competitive level may become members in our PERFORMING/COMPETITIVE COMPANY. Certain technical and performance requirements must be achieved by the student in order to be considered for the COMPANY. The decision for membership is made by audition and / or the director’s recommendation.
  • Company members will involved in performances, competitions, workshops, community service, and other studio related events to represent the studio.

Class Placement

  • Classes are generally arranged according to age, skill level, and ability. If there is a question about a student’s level, final decision will be determined after careful observation of the student in class. Dance Artistry will always recommend the class placement/level that will best benefit student’s development to ensure proper technique and skills before advancing to a higher level.
